Living with HIV today often means thriving, not just surviving. A once-fatal diagnosis is now a manageable chronic condition. Navigating the initial emotional shock, stigma, and fear of disclosure are common challenges, many individuals find strength through community support, self-care, and living openly to challenge misconceptions.

Our workshop will explore from an intersectional lens, the experience of living and working with HIV in the UK today. We will be sharing lived experience and exploring the benefits of psychotherapy in supporting people and their families, friends and carers when living with HIV. There will be the opportunity to listen to our experiences, which are shared from a personal and professional perspective, as well having space to reflect in smaller groups, before having space for questions and explorations as a larger group.

Our speakers bring with them a wealth of experience that will help you gain a greater awareness of HIV and its impact on modern living.
