About Susan (Sue)
I am an accredited therapist registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and hold a master’s degree in Systemic Psychotherapy, gained at the Tavistock Clinic, London. As a Systemic Psychotherapist I have extensive experience within the NHS and other mental health settings, as well as private practice.
I also have additional training in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFcT) and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFiT).
EFT is a non-blaming approach to therapy which pays attention to how our thoughts, feelings and attachments impact our interactions, behaviours and relationships. I offer a safe space for couples and individuals to explore presenting issues to better understand themselves, each other and their relationships.
My Professional Memberships include International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT) & British Emotionally Focused Therapy (BEFT).
I offer both couples and individual therapy on-line.
