About John
I'm a registered Family & Systemic Psychotherapist with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy - (UKCP Member number: 2011164090) and I am also a registered mental health nurse specialising in child and adolescent mental health.
I have completed the systemic supervision course at the Institute of Family Therapy and can offer systemic consultation and supervision. I am also a trainer of systemic practice for multiple contexts including social care and health services.
I have over 20 years experience of working with individuals, couples and families with a range of presenting problems including depression, self harm, suicidal thoughts, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, ADHD and substance / alcohol misuse. I have extensive experience of working with people who want to explore their identity relating to their gender and their sexuality.
