About Marie
I am a systemic psychotherapist (family therapist) and have worked in the NHS and private sector since qualifying in 2003. I am also a qualified systemic supervisor and have worked in the training and supervision of students at University of Leeds between 2026 and 2025. Before training in systemic psychotherapy I trained in general and children's nursing and worked in community based child and family health and child development practice. As a systemic psychotherapist I am trained to work with people across the lifespan, seeing them individually or in close relationship pairings or groups/ families. My work is to help them to alleviate distress in their relationship or in dealing with problems which are affecting them. I particularly welcome adult families seeking therapeutic space to work together with me. I work online or face to face (in Leeds). I also offer low cost therapy and supervision to current systemic students for up to 10 sessions subject to my availability and a sliding scale for fees generally.
