Candice Woolfson

Family and Systemic Psychotherapist

Candice Woolfson

About Candice

I am a systemic and family psychotherapist, working with individuals, couples, parents, carers, children, adolescents, and families. I offer flexible support, from short-term, solution-focused work to longer-term exploration of deeper relational issues. I also facilitate therapy groups.

My work focuses on fostering understanding, improving communication, and building resilience within family systems. At the heart of my practice is a belief that meaningful and lasting change occurs when relationships are strengthened, and the resources within families and wider systems are mobilised. I tailor my approach to each family or client’s unique circumstances. I integrate creativity and play to engage younger members and nurture connection.

Whether it’s communication breakdowns, life transitions, crises, relationship ruptures, challenges related to mental health, neurodivergence, or generational patterns or wounds, my sessions will offer you a space to talk, listen, and truly hear one another. Together, you can build understanding of what’s happening beneath the surface, work through big changes or long-held tensions, develop shared tools for navigating challenges, and rebuild or deepen your connections while respecting each individual’s different perspective and beliefs.

You’ll be supported in an environment that meets you where you are, whether that means making sense of the past, finding steadiness in the present, and or moving hopefully toward the future.

My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where individuals, couples, parents, carers and children can make sense of challenges and move towards more connected, compassionate, and hopeful ways of living.
