About Sezer
I am a UKCP-registered Systemic Family Psychotherapist and HCPC-registered Social Worker with over 15 years’ experience supporting children, young people, adults, couples and families through life’s challenges. My approach is collaborative, compassionate and non-judgemental, recognising that difficulties rarely exist within one person alone but are shaped by our relationships, histories, cultures and wider social contexts.
I offer a safe and respectful space where we can make sense of the challenges you are facing together. Rather than focusing solely on problems, I work with individuals and families to identify strengths, deepen understanding, improve communication and build new ways of relating to one another. I believe meaningful change happens through conversation, curiosity and connection.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, trauma, family conflict, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, behavioural concerns, school-related issues, life transitions, grief and loss. I also have extensive experience working with culturally diverse families, migration, identity, and the impact of discrimination and social inequalities.
My practice integrates systemic family therapy with narrative, structural and attachment-informed approaches, tailoring therapy to each person’s unique circumstances and goals. Whether we meet individually, as a couple or as a family, our work will be guided by what matters most to you.
Alongside my private practice, I am a Senior Systemic Family Psychotherapist within CAMHS, a university lecturer and clinical supervisor. These roles allow me to remain engaged with the latest developments in systemic practice while bringing extensive clinical experience to my work with clients.
If you are looking for a therapist who will work alongside you with warmth, curiosity and respect, I would be pleased to support you on your journey.
