About Fatima
An MSc-qualified Systemic Family, Couple and Individual Psychotherapist, accredited by both UKCP and AFT. She specialises in working with emotional and interpersonal relationships, with a systemic focus on understanding individual experiences within the context of emotionally significant relationships.
Her therapeutic practice is informed by an Islamic understanding of the self and adopts a holistic, integrative approach that attends to the mind, body and soul. This allows for culturally and religiously sensitive therapeutic work, supporting clients to create meaningful change from within their own relational, cultural and spiritual frameworks. She has also completed specialist training in Islamic psychotherapy under Dr Skinner.
She has extensive experience working within the NHS and voluntary sector and currently practises in both voluntary and private settings.
