About Nadir
Nadir Khan is a UK-based Family and Systemic Psychotherapist, supervisor, and doctoral researcher. His work integrates systemic psychotherapy with Islamic psychology (ʿilm al-nafs), with a particular focus on relational ethics, presence, and reflexivity in therapeutic practice.
He works with individuals, couples, and families where distress is shaped by complex relational, cultural, or spiritual dynamics. His clinical approach emphasises ethical responsibility (adab), practitioner stance, and the therapeutic relationship as a central site of change.
Alongside clinical work, Nadir is completing a Professional Doctorate in Systemic Practice, researching spiritual reflexivity and how Islamic understandings of the self can inform ethical and relationally grounded psychotherapy across difference.
