About Naomi

I am an experienced family & systemic psychotherapist working in private practice and in the NHS. I have worked across a range of settings including forensic, adolescent mental health and children's social care. I enjoy working with people across the life span, from children to older adults, and I'm confident to offer individual, couple and family sessions.

I am guided by systemic, attachment-based and emotion-focused approaches to therapy. I have additional training in attachment-based family therapy (ABFT) and mentalisation-based therapy for adolescents (MBT-A), both of which are NICE-recommended treatments for adolescent depression and emotional intensity. When working with couples, I am informed by emotion-focused approaches with an attachment needs based framework.

I am experienced in working with clients with neurodiverse needs and passionate about adapting therapy to ensure it is inclusive for people with autism, ADHD and learning differences.

In addition to clinical practice I have held teaching and training roles and offer clinical supervision.
