About Geneva
I am a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist (UKCP & AFT registered) with over a decade of experience supporting children, young people, couples, and families. My career began in 2010, working with children with learning disabilities, and later expanded into social work, child protection, and specialist mental health roles within CAMHS. These diverse experiences shaped my warm, collaborative, and culturally attuned therapeutic style. Following my systemic training, I have been working within CAMHS and now venturing into independent work. In my CAMHS, lead family therapy clinics and support families facing a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties. I use systemic ideas, including externalising, relational reframing, and pattern‑focused exploration, to help families communicate more openly, strengthen connections, and approach challenges with curiosity and compassion. As a Black Family Therapist, I hold a strong commitment to anti‑discriminatory practice and remain mindful of power, culture, race, and identity in the therapeutic space. My approach is non‑judgmental, trauma‑informed, and grounded in the belief that every family has the capacity for meaningful change. I offer family therapy, systemic assessment, consultation, and supervision, tailoring my work to the unique needs of each family or professional I support.
